Austin Soundwaves serves student musicians across the greater Austin area, providing diverse opportunities for learners of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences. We work with more than 1,400 students through 34 school partnerships and community programs every year.
WHAT WE DO
Austin Soundwaves provides music education services and invests in the Austin community during and after school. Our highly-trained and experienced teaching artist staff teach year-round through our numerous programs, including teaching band, orchestra, and lessons at our many partner schools, teaching students through the Private Lesson Program, directing ensembles like Mariachi Para Todos, working with students through intensive creative youth development programs like the Draylen Mason Fellows Program, or our month-long Summer Music Camp.
