Austin Soundwaves serves student musicians across the greater Austin area, providing diverse opportunities for learners of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences. We work with more than 1,400 students through 34 school partnerships and community programs every year.

WHAT WE DO
Austin Soundwaves provides music education services and invest in the Austin community during and after school. Our highly-trained and experienced teaching artist staff provide in-school teaching at our many partner schools, leading sectionals, group lessons, or directing the band and orchestras. After school, we lead individual teaching with our students through the Private Lesson Program, direct ensembles like Mariachi Para Todos, or offer intensive creative youth development through programs like the Draylen Mason Fellows Program.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization EIN 45-1601843. Our IRS legal name is the Hispanic Alliance for the Performing Arts and we operate under our d/b/a AUSTIN SOUNDWAVES.
