Mariachi Para Todos and the Voces Oral History Center at UT-Austin

Our intergenerational mariachi ensemble, Mariachi Para Todos, participated virtually in Voces Lives On - A Memorial Tribute on August 15th. This event was organized by the Voces Oral History Center, the largest archive documenting Latino voices in the country, and commemorated six members of the archive who died this past year. One of those honored was Dr. Teresa Lozano Long, who played an immeasurable role in co-founding Austin Soundwaves.
