Partnership Highlight: Austin Achieve High School

We are excited to partner with Michael Galvan and Austin Achieve High School again this year. Last year the band program rebooted with over 150 students, most of whom were first-year musicians playing on instruments donated by Austin Soundwaves.

This year we look forward to seeing scholars in the Honor Band, Symphonic Band, and Beginning Bands continue to grow with support from our teaching artists. The students are preparing for their first concert of the year, which will be held at the end of September! In addition, this coming Friday the 21st, they are performing for the Austin Achieve Hispanic.
