IDEA-Montopolis Summer Band Camps

We are just a few weeks away from the start of the school year for most of our partner school programs. Last week, IDEA Montopolis held their annual summer band camps for their middle and high school band students. Dr. Felipe Brito, director of bands at IDEA, worked with our team at Austin Soundwaves to help prepare students for another busy and exciting school year making music.

We are especially proud of 2018 alumnus, Miguel Hernandez (above, seated with a percussion student), who is currently a music major at Stephen F. Austin University - he joined the staff to teach at summer band camp along with our Austin Soundwaves staff. Well done, Miguel!
