All-Region Festival and Clinic

The All-Region Festival and Clinic started as part of the Austin Music Education Coalition in 2016 as a way for teachers at smaller schools to share with and learn from each other. We now provide both a band and orchestra track and bring in guest artist teachers and conductors to work with more than 150 students every year.

Part of the larger Austin Soundwaves Festival Series, students and school programs engage with their musical community through this All-Region band and orchestra festival, as well as the March solo/ensemble festival, and April large ensemble festival. Startup of this initiative was generously supported by the Webber Family Foundation, a current foundation partner of Austin Soundwaves. We have since served thousands of students across more than 20 small schools across the greater Austin area.

The deadline for registration is TODAY - Friday, November 3rd. We welcome registration from students from across the city, particularly from smaller schools and home schoolers. Auditions this year will take place on December 2nd and once again encourage applications for middle and high school band and orchestra students.
