¡Viva El Mariachi!

What an unforgettable night of music! On September 15th, Austin Soundwaves was honored to be a part of Mariachi Rock Revolution, a one-of-a-kind concert that blended the rich tradition of mariachi with the high-energy sound of rock. This electrifying fusion was not just a show—it benefited our Mariachi Para Todos program, which is changing lives through the power of music so deeply connected to the communities we serve. Every note played and every ticket sold supported musicians of all ages as they continue to chase their dreams

Our Mariachi Para Todos students had an absolute blast performing on stage, showcasing the transformative magic of music education programming. The energy was incredible, with all of our artists joining forces for a night no one will forget! We were also thrilled to feature Austin Soundwaves board president Martin Rodriguez and past board treasurer Lupe Morin as speakers, who shared their inspiring words and passion for our mission.

A special shoutout to Lupe Morin, Olga Campos Benz, and Haydn Vitera for including us in this amazing event and making Austin Soundwaves the beneficiary of the evening. Your generosity and belief in our mission made all the difference, and we can’t thank you enough for helping us empower young musicians through the joy of mariachi.
