Organizational service day at the Central Texas Food Bank

It was amazing to end last week with our quarterly organizational service day at the Central Texas Food Bank! Several of our staff, alumni, and board members gathered Friday to help do our small part to box food for 4,000 meals. We hold several service days like this each year, allowing us to give back to other organizations serving the Austin community. Not only do these service days enable us to support other nonprofits, but it provides a time for members and supporters of our organization to connect outside of music.

The Central Texas Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief charity in Central Texas. Over the last year, they have had to manage with fewer volunteers and increased food insecurity. If you’re interested in volunteering, visit their volunteer page to learn how.
