Coffee and conchas at Eastside High School

We were excited to welcome visitors from AISD and our community to Eastside Early College High School for Coffee Connection, an opportunity to see a little bit of our work at one of our 14 partner school programs. We heard performances from a few high school band students participating in our Community Lessons program with Austin Soundwaves teaching artists, all while enjoying coffee generously donated by Texas Coffee Traders and conchas from Joe’s Bakery. We also heard a presentation from our community programs manager, Doug Laustsen, about the impact of Community Lessons and our plans for future growth and needs.
