A Recap of ATX Unconducted

Several past and current Austin Soundwaves teaching artists performed in the first-ever concert for Austin Unconducted last week. The event brought local musicians to the KMFA Draylen Mason Studio where they performed for over 100 concert-goers! The show included pieces from four largely under-performed composers, including Juan de Lienas, Guadelupe Olmedo, Julius Eastman, and Aldemaro Romero, and was curated by local visual art curator Coka Treviño of Big Medium.
