A Successful Celebration of Latin American Music

Last Thursday, June 30th, our Community Symphony director, Sara Aldana, led a musical trip through countries of Latin America, showcasing the rich culture and heritage of the region in a wonderful performance showcase. Fiesta! featured a community-based string orchestra made up of music lovers from the Austin area (including Austin Soundwaves students and alumni, as well as our Community Symphony members), ranging from budding young musicians to experienced professionals, all of whom share a mutual love of collaborating through music.
