Season Kickoff at Pease Park

We are excited to announce a partnership fall concert series with Pease Park called Tapestry for a Luminous Tomorrow! This free concert series will showcase how music brings a diverse community together and feature Austin Soundwaves teachers, students, and partner groups.

The first concert will be a season kickoff with Austin Soundwaves and All Rhythms on September 8. Austin Soundwaves teaching artists will be joined by All Rhythms presenting Sofrito y Su Melao and Esquina Tango. All Rhythms is a local music organization with a world-class music ensemble that plays traditional Cuban and Caribbean music for dancing. We encourage our Austin Soundwaves students, their families, school partners, and our supporters and friends to stop by for a beautiful evening of music!

Join Mariachi Para Todos

Do you enjoy traditional mariachi music? Our intergenerational ensemble, Mariachi Para Todos, is looking for new members! Musicians of all ages and levels of playing are welcome to register to join the group. The first rehearsal will be on the evening of Wednesday, September 7. Click this link to register!
