Fire Up Our Team in Chicago

Our commitment to providing training and professional development for our amazing staff extends all the way to the midwest this week - we're thrilled to have had four members of our staff at the Fire Up Conference in Chicago!

Two of our lead teaching artists, Rohan Joshi and Christina Cuellar, were joined by education director Mary Speight and executive director Patrick Slevin for 4 days of education and networking at the beautiful Ravinia Festival.

The four spent the week learning with administrators and teaching artists from across the country through workshops and sessions led by the Academy for Impact through Music (AIM). AIM's aim (see what we did there?) is empowering "changemakers tackling inequality through music education" by equipping them with tools and strategies for better teaching, leadership, and impact.

A huge thank you to AIM for sponsoring the trip for all the participants and to the Ravinia Festival for hosting Fire Up.
